Know The Burning Laws Before You Burn! Make sure you know what is allowed to be burned and where and when fires are allowed. Many township residents haul items into the back yard and burn. This may result in a visit from the Police or Fire Company after neighbors or persons passing by make a report to the 911 center. Once this occurs you may be subject to citations and fines for not following the Township Burning Ordnance. We make every effort to let you know the law by posting the law on our web site. This law was enacted by the Supervisors of Lehigh not the Fire Company, however the fire company must uphold the law. |
